Aoki supports!! How to Choose Clothing for Job Hunting and Internships

■What is an internship?

This is a program that allows students to gain work experience at companies through practical training and training-like programs. This is an opportunity for students to see a variety of industries, so we encourage students to actively participate in this program.

■How to choose internship attire

Depending on the program, the company may or may not specify the attire. If so, please wear the designated attire.

In case of "suit" designation

Choose a solid-colored interview suit.

If a "suit" is specified, it is safe to wear a interview suit that will give a neat impression regardless of the industry. However, since different companies have different assumptions, if you are unsure, you may want to call or e-mail the company to confirm.
If your internship is in the summer and cool biz is designated, no jacket is acceptable, but it is a good idea to bring a jacket to wear depending on the situation. Men should also prepare a tie.

In the case of "plain attire" designation

Choose beautiful business casual wear.

If it says "plain clothes," wear business casual.
Office casual is clothing that is appropriate for business situations but a little less casual than a suit.
However, since the attire is only appropriate for business occasions, avoid overly casual styles such as T-shirts and jeans, or excessive exposure.

The standard is jacket + top + bottoms.
Coordination based on basic colors such as black, navy blue, and gray is recommended.
It is also recommended to choose pants with a crease in the center for a neat look.

In case of "no dress code" or "not specified

If not specified, wear a suit or business casual to match the atmosphere of the company you are visiting.

You can judge the atmosphere of the company by looking at the attire of senior employees at the information session, and if you are not sure, contact the company.

AOKI's professional staff will support you at the actual AOKI store.
